Viewing items inside encoded files

You can view items inside encoded files without having to decode them first. If you change the item that you view, Visual Codec Studio can update the encoded file it belongs in to reflect your changes.

To view items inside encoded files:

1. Click Open and select all the encoded files containing items you wish to view. You may select multiple files.

2. Double-click the item you wish to view. The item will be decoded transparently and opened in its associated application.

3. You may edit and save the item you are viewing. Visual Codec Studio will ask if you would like to update the encoded file it belongs in to reflect your changes.

• Some plugins may not support viewing or updating of items inside encoded files. Contact your plugin vendor for more information.
